FAQs

What is CWCJ?

CWCJ is a 10-week online creative writing course offered for students in the age group of 13+ years.

What is the format of CWCJ?

It is a 10-week course. Each week, you will receive a module that explains a particular topic along with tips and techniques. There will be assignments at the end of each module. These need to be emailed back to me in one week’s time for evaluation and feedback.

What is the focus of the course?

The objective of the course is to equip students with techniques to address commercial writing, the kind of writing that is published in newspapers, magazines, e-zines, and professional blogs. It includes practical tips on how to write articles, travelogues, reviews, blogs, and fiction. The course will NOT focus on writing school compositions.

Why is it online?

The student can learn from the comfort of home from any corner of the world, not restricted to specific timings. Since it is an online course, he/she needs to be self-motivated to complete and send assignments on time.

Even though it’s an online course, the student can always email/call me for any clarifications. I’m also open to doing Skype calls if there is a need to discuss something for a longer duration. Basically, for a student who wants to learn more, the format should not be a restriction.

What is the cost?

Rs.5000/-, 50% to be paid in advance and the remaining at the end of the fourth week of the course.
